Mio Bischoff is an aspiring singer-songwriter, originally from the small Midwestern town of Midland, Michigan, but now she has lived in and performed in various cosmopolitan cities around the world, including New York City, Tokyo, Shanghai, Paris, and Florence. She has been songwriting and performing for nearly ten years, with a repertoire of over 50 original songs in multiple languages. Her enthusiasm on stage, relatable lyrics, and catchy melodies have won her a growing international following that she hopes will continue to flourish in the years to come. Among her many musical influences are the Beatles, the Allman Brothers, Chicago, Journey, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz and Arashi.
Now, she is very excited and proud to release her first studio album, titled "Debatable Happiness," recorded in Paris, France.

Special thanks to:
- Momma; I never could have made it this far without you! And to all of my family for years of loving support.
- Chrissie for designing the cover art and for always being an encouraging older sister (xox)
- J, Miri, and Kmi for being there from the very start and always being the first to sample my songs. J, thank you for a fantastic photoshoot, for your artistic genius and your forever faith in me!
- Greg the Great for being so much more than my recording engineer--for being my springboard and consultant, an innovative musician, and a patient educator in all things technical and musical. Your creativity, dedication and artistry brought about the realization of my wildest dreams with all your talented work as a guitarist, bassist, percussionist, sound engineer and producer. It was truly an honor to work with you and I hope to be able to again in the future! Here's to being in the right place at the right time!
- Yusuke for your bass expertise and for being such an accommodating roommate to our 'studio'; for spending patient hours without your bass guitar, your headphones, your guitar tuner... and even your mattress!
- Victor Gil for taking the time to record, rerecord, and re-rerecord varying drum sounds.
- Sean Velasco-Dodge for the generous loan of your homemade electric guitar when resources were scarce.
- Collin for being a tolerant and encouraging neighbor with thin walls.
- Thia for being my most enthusiastic fangirl in Paris♡ and Cora for being such a creative and accommodating camerawoman and director for surprises for come!
- and to all my friends in Paris for your constant support--especially Rina, Roman, Alfredo, Sam, and Cyn.
More thanks to:
