Scarlet Grasslands by ILLUMINGRISTILLATE

Sombre Soniks presents an interesting koncept for a kollaboration from Grist and Illuminoscillate, with two very Hypnotik Noise Drones. Thee Projekts kombine to kreate two very deep elektronik soundskapes, filled with trance inducing textures!

"In 2013, Grist and Illuminoscillate, both very much on their own idiosyncratic ritualistic paths, decided to meet at a crossroads and combine forces to see what they could summon united. Each of the pieces recorded was created coming from the opposite direction: the piece “Nightvoices” was launched by Illuminoscillate and finished by Grist, while “Stabwounds in the Sky” was developed in the reverse order.

Both artists reveal their own very distinctive approaches and cosmologies, revelations then obscured by the practices of the other. Blood meets blood, and then, the rituals complete, the paths separate once more – perhaps to meet again when the moment is right. These bloody crossroads are now presented to you, as Scarlet Grasslands; here, for a time, stood ILLUMINGRISTILLATE."
