Like streams we dissolve from quiet hills.
Carving the hardened soil into a valley of groves
Pillars of Earth reaching for the heavens.
Bellowing cries pierce the lost kingdom,
Our throats torn and raw
As we scream with vengeful tongues
Their words were silent
Now revealed we sing retribution for our most elder kin.
How could we cover their tracks in such vain?
These seeds sowed deep
Great sequoia sprung
Rich, bearing majesty
This labyrinth is left behind in this dead world.
