X is the second Solomonar album. As planned, this is a further introspection into the multi-faceted self. The central piece of the album is the song IX, which is almost 30 minutes long, and is the only Solomonar song that is not exclusively instrumental. This is rather a meditation than a song, as it was composed during a solitary trip in the romanian carpathian mountains. Its acts came naturally one after the other, as the weather got worse and the mountain, enveloped in mist, seemed to bend more and more above me. It is in such circumstances, at the start of the storm, when you can actually communicate clearly to the innermost version of yourself. Also the song X is actually a resurrected song, the original being a demo recording from 2013.
The concept of this project stems from the idea that each human being is actually a composite result of more personalities, of more entities glued together in synergy. For me, the number that seemed to occur again and again was โ51โ, so Solomonar is a project with a clear objective: that of describing each of these faces of myself in a musical manner.
