Looking down at the pavement
Dwelling on my past
Walking, acting under command
Feeling down
Hoping it won't last

Emptiness invades me
I struggle against my soul
Against loneliness, interfering slowly
Abandonned by the flavour
Of my joy of life turning into coal

Everything I see becomes fog
My eyes, blinded by my tears, embogue
What were streams, flowing to rivers
Laying uncertain, my whole body shivers
Everything I hear is a distant sound
Into the deepest ocean I've been drowned
What was, before, an obvious path
Fades into my future, present and past

Emptiness invades me
I struggle against my soul
Against loneliness, interfering slowly
My joy of life turning into coal

The void trapped in my prison of flesh
Now rules my will to live and actions
I manage to think for the first time in days
About my submission

Gradually fearing him and his most awful thoughts
Loving him too much to realize what he'd said
Denying my work and all the demons I fought
I become conscious that my passion will probably fade
