'Black Oak' is a split EP from I am Oak and The Black Atlantic.
The Black Atlantic and I am Oak would someday be making music together; this much was certain years ago. Both acts are fans of each other’s music, and have each in their own way specialized in creating pop music grafted on a folk base. Black Oak had been in existence for years, as a concept, as a play on band names. This split EP is the culmination.

It contains a new song, a collaboration and a cover from each artist, and is also pressed on 10" vinyl for a limited release of 555.
