Suchness by Smaragd
Suchness, the first album from Smaragd, was released in December 2001. With influences coming from Rush, Pink Floyd and many others, Smaragd forges unique and diverse sounds. From the punchy experimentalism of "Box" to the Floydian moodiness of "What Have You Done" to the affirming acoustic meditation "Tao (You Cannot Move Me)" Smaragd ranges over a broad spectrum of styles.
The tracks on Suchness were recorded using a mixture of four-track analog and some digital recording, mastering and/or mixing.
