UNDERDOG (DELUXE) by Slive
This is an original soundtrack inspired by my experience rehearsing and performing Suzanne Lori Parks' Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, Topdog/Underdog.
The play tells the story of Lincoln and Booth, two brothers whose names were given to them as a joke, foretelling a lifetime of sibling rivalry and resentment. Haunted by the past, the brothers are forced to confront the shattering reality of their future.
The album delves deeply into the characters' psyches, exploring major themes from the play like poverty, brotherhood, sexuality, and violence.
This is my first official album. I hope you enjoy.
