Hashshashin (EP) by Slipway Strangers

The Hashshashin, the original assassins, first got their start in Persia, Syria, and Turkey and eventually spread to the rest of the Middle East, taking down political and financial rivals alike before their organization fell in the mid-1200s.

In the modern world, the word "assassin" denotes a mysterious figure in the shadows, bent on murder for purely political reasons rather than for love or money. Amazingly enough, that usage hasn't changed too much since the 11th, 12th and 13th centuries, when the Assassins of Persia struck fear and daggers into the hearts of the region's political and religious leaders.
