there was a time while this was being written that these songs were still for a man who abducted me when I was little, but now after years of therapy, happily they are for you
there are pretty notes to mark the rewards for compliance
there are dark notes for noncompliance
there are desperations and isolations but before that there was laughter and simple smiles
there is a forced identity breakdown and a naive willingness i chase every day and will never get back
