These are the words of Dave Catching, Mojave Lord, guitarist with Eagles Of Death Metal, QOTSA and co-producer with the band of this release on New Heavy Sounds.
Dave’s kick starts the debut album from Sky Valley Mistress, introducing eight tracks of full on hard and heavy stoner rock, guaranteed to nail your ass to the wall from the get-go.
On listening to level of musicianship and vocal prowess shown on their debut, you can only assume this group young blood’s signed a deal with the devil on their journey to the desert.
The album was recorded at the legendary Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, California and like all great rock and roll it oozes the vibe and attitude heard on the record.
