This E.P. could not be seen as completed without a track that pays homage to the pure drum and bass sound. “The Weapon” is an intelligent dancefloor hammer, fueled by its cracking drums and deep sub lines.
There’s a discernible Asian ongoing theme, with the use of Japanese Shakuhachi samples, followed by a processed dialog sample about the “Portuguese merchants that arrived in 1543 and the Daimyo was intrigued by their peculiar unknown weapon”...
