Vagrant by Sintek

I take a lot of inspiration from dystopian aspects of society that are creeping up over time (and affect those we love), but the album is about keeping a level head and positivity shining through that darkness. There are dark/dreary aspects of some tracks (and obviously the cover art), but for the most part, the tracks reek of nostalgia/retro/retrowave themes (taking place in a futuristic setting). It's about moving past darkness that surrounds us, and appreciating what we do have more. People don't realize that music is more than just music. For artists, it's an expression and journal encompassing their own life and/or viewpoints (at least in my case).

The title of the album is inspired by the global recession we are all experiencing (likely the tip of the iceberg).

I've been composing Abstract/Orchestral/Electronic tracks off and on for over 15 years. Putting these tracks together has helped me vent past situations and emotions. Many are inspired by events in my life, and hold a deep meaning that some may come to understand.
