#30: 2015 by SIMF

The 30th Seattle Improvised Music Festival took place on February 6-8, 2015 at the Good Shepherd Center Chapel, presented by Nonsequitur and organized by Paul Hoskin with assistance from Greg Campbell and Steve Peters. To celebrate SIMF's 30th anniversary, the beginning points of Seattle’s creative improvised music were featured — a sample, to highlight its growth and expansion.

Initiated in 1986 by Paul Hoskin, the Seattle Improvised Music Festival is perhaps the longest running festival of free improvised music in North America.
