Red Sky from Encounters by Sigurd Hole Trio
Sigurd Hole represents an innovative approach to his instrument strongly influenced by Norwegian folk music and nature. In 2018 he released his first two albums
as a leader. The follow up solo album "Lys / Mørke" came in 2020. His 2022 release "Roraima" was written for a septet and included field recordings from the Amazon rainforest.
In 2024 he released a new album called "Extinction sounds"
