Prayful from Jrimbhate by Shyan Kishore

The Bansuri flute is so much fun due to it's offering of endless techniques and qualities to discover and explore. Here I am playing one of my favourite Ragas, Hansadwani. It feels so comfortable and natural to improvise with. I've enjoyed a beautiful romance with this Raga for many years.
I decided that the name "Prayful" is appropriate for this piece because although my approach here is playful, for me music is always full of the vibration of prayer. My intention is always to share my experience of sound as a connection with Divinity.

Shyan Kishore, student of the renowned Pandit. Hariprasad Chaurasia has been playing the Indian classical Bansuri flute since 1996.
Fully surrendered to the path and guidance of sound, having tasted the divine nectar from it's source within the flower of himself.
