Armchair Prophets by Shu
On April 15, 2023, Shu turns 30. We are commemorating the day with a concert at The Park Theater in our hometown of Glens Falls, NY, and with the release of our first studio album since 2008.
"Armchair Prophets" is a brand new recording of some long lost gems and Shu classics, captured here in the studio for the first time in a live 12-hour session at Skyfall Studios in Argyle, NY. These songs were born on stage, and live is how they should be heard.
The album was recorded and produced by Marc Fuller and mastered by Doug Ford. They are two of our oldest and closest friends. They are also the same crew that recorded our 1995 debut album "Fanagalo", in the very same studio. Back then it was called Sweetfish Studios.
So, it's a special record for a lot of reasons. It's also a lot of fun.
