Miniaturization by Eugene Dubon

Eugene Dubon is a Ship cruising across the desert.

Having moved from the rainy skylines of Seattle, Washington to London about two years ago, the dissonance between the eerie similarities in locale and the drastic cultural differences proved an important catalyst in his artistic direction. Driven by Dubon’s unaffected baritone, his new-found cultural observations, quasi-rambling ponderings and deeply cynical stances on our lifestyles found themselves a core part of his musical identity.

"Miniaturization" is an ode to Isaac Asimovs "Fantastic Voyage", a spy thriller set in a miniature submarine travelling through a human body. While the whole premise is presented in a measured and rational manner, and the science behind it all is well researched and considered, there's an inherent absurdism to riding around somebodies blood vessels in a submersible, even if they are doing so to potentially save lives. Miniaturization is about how this absurdism is mirrored in the mundane aspects of our present everyday lives.
