Desert Suite by Greg Maroney & Sherry Finzer

Desert Suite is the third full-length recording by award-winning musicians and composers Greg Maroney & Sherry Finzer. Different in scope than their prior two emotionally themed releases Remembrances and Strength & Serenity, Desert Suite takes the listener on a journey to the beautiful Southwest, where visions of wide and stunning desert scenery are created with piano and a variety of flutes, including the much-loved and fitting Native American-style flutes. These beautiful melodies take you through winding canyons, where eagles fly, and wild horses run free. An unending range of desert cacti and gentle breezes appear in these musical soundscapes - from the early morning in Saguaro Sunrise to the late evening in Saguaro Sunset, making a complete and cohesive collection and suite for the listener.

Sherry Finzer believes that music can heal. She is a Phoenix based flutist, performer, and composer, and runs Heart Dance Recordings – a label consisting of artists with a focus on healing music. She specializes in the low flutes - alto, bass and contrabass.
