The music on this release was created in three phases. The improvised raw material was recorded one afternoon in 2010 at the so-called Stockhausen Studio at The Hague Royal Conservatory using some old modular synths and general midi. 5 years later at Kaj's place in Berlin, we put The Hague recordings through a max/msp patch that randomly selected three mono files, panning them L, C and R, and giving each a random loop-length, with some effects on top. Finally, in spring 2017, in Assaf’s flat in Brooklyn, many hours of material were sorted through and mixed into 48 minutes of musical wallpaper.
