District 13 by Shaqah Zulu
Known from the sub underground group “Dark Glory” in 2011, La Salle artist Shaqah Zulu begins his solo appearance in his second EP titled District 13. The tape is a compilation of abstract/ hip-hop beats from known artist Clams Casino, to Montreal producer JuD, and all the way to Germany from producers Warminal.
The tape gives a dark feel, yet an empowering feel if you embarrass the vibe, the 16 minutes of 5 tracks leaves each song not too long but wishing there was more.
