No Lords by Heroshe

Our fifth release comes from Heroshe out of Vancouver, BC. It is a deep melodic piece with synths, drones, and subtle drum hits. The song exudes how he was feeling after moving into a new home. Following a few live takes in an empty room with simply a Minitaur and a couple keyboards, a musical atmosphere of the night turning into day was created.

“The concept was to use the least amount of drums as possible. The name 'No Lords' comes from the lead synth that’s playing throughout the song. It reminds me of a horn, something that announces or accompanies a Lord/ king type figure. The tone is fairly moody, so I like to think of it as the passing of a Lord. To us we gain a sense of freedom, sorrow, or happiness from something that was once binding us...but now no longer is.” -Heroshe
