Numbers from Tascam by Sebastian Handley
My mum told me about a production of King Lear she had seen where the Fool mocked the King in the style of George Formby singing his lines whilst playing a ukulele. That’s what gave me the initial idea, the choruses were obviously written during periods of insomnia. I think I wrote it on and off for about 3 or 4 years finishing it in about 2007.

Many a flower must bloom unseen.

How many times will the ocean roar?
How many pebbles are on the shore?
