One of my first Logic sessions. During my junior year of high school, the Theater Arts department reached out to me and asked me to make some incidental music for their fall production, Eugene Ionesco's "Rhinoceros". I submitted a group of pieces to them, and this was my personal favorite.
I was given the prompt of "stereotypical french cafe during wartime". Going with the first 3 "French-ish" instruments that came to my head (piano, string bass, accordion), I recorded a single-take improvisation centered around C minor on each instrument. Piano came first, then bass, then accordion. It was a really nice challenge of trying to study and predict my own playing style, given that each take would have to be improvised, yet still fit with the takes proceeding it, none of which was written down.
