A dark and beautiful wyrdfolk gem that sat complete but unreleased for seventeen years and now here it is.

Half of the album was recorded in the cold early spring of 2007 at Sacred Heart Church in Duluth, MN USA..Recorded by Eric Swanson at Sacred Heart Music. The other half of the album was recorded by Bryce Kastning in Requirements of Sound studio in Minneapolis, MN 2007. Blossom was never released until now. All tracks are composed in contrast to other Sean P Connaughty albums which are primarily improvisations.Blossom features five original Sean P Connaughty compositions and five cover songs. Including songs by Beck, Dylan, Woody Guthrie and an Irish Ballad.
