Shape Shifters by Still Patient?

Back to the roots with new ideas, new inspiration and a modernized sound! That’s one way you could describe the new album SHAPE SHIFTERS by STILL PATIENT? in just a few words. But there’s much more to it than that. Breaking the silence after 14 years with the 2014 EP release, STILL PATIENT? are now back with their first full-length album, harkening back strongly to the traditional musical beginnings of the band, all the while rejuvenating it with a modern production. 10 powerful, melodic and danceable songs, mixed with atmospheric sounds , merged with the unique style of STILL PATIENT? make SHAPE SHIFTERS a future milestone of the Dark Rock genre . In addition, the album also features the 2012 re-recorded version of the classic track MASCARA OSIRIS, which has only been released on a compilation so far.

STILL PATIENT? was founded in 1988 in Worms/Germany and has released four Albums and an EP between 1992 and 1999. The band was one of considerable representatives of the Second Wave of Gothic Rock in the 90ies. STILL PATIENT? disbanded 1999 and the members got active in other musical genres. After the re-recording of the song MASCARA OSIRIS in 2012 for a compilation some of the original members teamed up with new musicians to reactivate STILL PATIENT?. With the result that 2014 the EP SELECTIVE PERCEPTION was released. After 16 years the first full length album SHAPE SHIFTERS will be released in 2015.
