Blackbirds by Scentient Pencils

Being fascinated with the blackbird since early childhood, I found it suitable to try and put together some sort of an ode for it's calls. Using field recording,bass guitar, piano & a kaval (along with a few harmonica sound for granular synthesis).

On the first (and main) track, the "Ode" itself, I used a series of field recordings made by me in the local urban environment. Early-morning blackbird calls, rain sounds, AM radio sweeps, old harmonicas, everything has been recording by myself, with what I had at hand.
