When San Jacinto Prison Warden William Crosley realized the Scared Witless program his facility introduced was not deterring kids from pursuing a life of crime and in fact was creating new felons daily. To that he formed the San Jacinto Death Row Prison Band. "Every last one of the musicians is one overturned sentence from frying in a strapping chair," said Crosley diplomatically.
