Sangüaza, es un proyecto gestado en 2006 por el baterista José Planell y el guitarrista Ricardo Rugerio, ellos grabaron en su totalidad el disco ECTOPIA. Poco tiempo despúes, decidieron hacer del proyecto una banda en vivo invitando al Bajista Arturo "Sadoma" González y al cantante Carlos Téllez "Blackbujo", con esla alineación el grupo comienza a participar en eventos, hasta que entra en letargo
