But no one is getting to places
at all.
Hunched over poses;
Faces staring at a mirror.
Everyday skies moving over,
And success today means don’t falter

They’re frozen in time
While everything around them

And Sirens light it up in blue and red.
Narcan just brings back all the hurt and pain.
If only we could go back and try again…

Shootings because they’re hating.
Opinions are online baiting.
We fall.
But it won’t go away
Digital concrete in a vaulted space.
Focused on what we can get from
Those who we think we can scam;
Grab it all.
Empathy’s gone -
Live life like it's us or them.

Personal pomp and all they want is fame.
Street dreams just bring back all the hurt and pain.
