Minds Reflection from First Light by Russ Foreman and Chuck Hippert

People have their opinions. For a long time I thought they were exposing some truth about me to me until I realized that they were only exposing their state of consciousness to me. I don't know why, in our culture, we use Love as a hot potato ("I love you.....wait....wait.....why did you not say it back to me???.......). If someone is truthful about feeling love, the feeling is happening inside their body not necessarily in the person they are speaking to.
One of my teachers said to the class: "When you say 'you are beautiful' you are really saying 'I'm am beautiful' because 'I choose to see beauty" - it exists in you". This song is a play on that wonderful lesson.

Musically this song came from a jam session with Chuck written on the spot - with the original drums and one of the guitars still in the mix. I spent way too much time on the lead solos - recording them first forwards then reversing the audio and learning how to play them backwards. I then recorded the backwards version of the solos and then reversed them again. I thought they came out well.
