"First up is Rush Falknor, one of Chicago's leading experimental artists operating in many realms of sound work, gracing the A side of this tape with a dynamic piece consisting of quiet automated voices chiming in and out over a distant intercom, echoing throughout dreamlike corridors that are consistently and abruptly impeded upon by sharp blasts of abrasive Cut-Up noise.

Ethan McCarthy has made a name for himself operating as a visual artist known as Hell Simulation, as well as the success of his bands Primitive Man and Vermin Womb. His side of the split is a much quieter (yet equally unsettling) offering of cold surgical ambience that slowly unfolds like the soundtrack to being locked in a cryogenic chamber with no idea how you got there or when you'll get out."
