I celebrate the seasons
The call is in my blood
I celebrate the Sun the Moon and the Stars up above

This mountain makes up my body
And this creeks flowing through my veins
Ya there is dirt underneath my finger nails
cyclical being I wax and then I wane

This is our Revival
Earth Mother calling children Home
Atavistic re-arrival
Love of the Land re-born

Once named dark and unruly
images whispered with God’s name in fear
Earth split into heaven and hell
Great Mother shed her tears

And what did till the soil?
What turned this wealth to dust?
Spells, disorientations
In the death of Autumn we hold our trust

Ya I compost these ways un-serving
and within it I plant a seed
One perennial of Light and Love and it is a vigorous as a weed

to seed my sovereignty

Ya I trust in the path
Not a slave to a wage
I root down to the Earth
Take flight in the golden age

I hear the Land callin’
Partner where you been?
Together we grow some old growth children

I look to the Indigenous
I don’t want to miss
The lessons that come
whispering within the mist

To hear the 7th fires burning
Simple ways re-learning
I purge my fear
I purge my yearning

Foraging medicine
Knowing Love will win
Speaking in this age
with a little bit of reticence

living on the fringe, the elusive
Moving past judgment not to be exclusive

Onion layers peeling
to the core feeling
moving through ancestral healing

Gardens growing
Deep knowing
