Princess Potato by Rugrat

Princess Potato. Part 2 of 3 in my Demon Llama album trilogy. 9 years ago I made Demon Llama, and it was always supposed to be followed up by it's sequel, Princess Potato. Demon Llama got made fun of endlessly, which I took so darn personally and led to me feeling the need to 'prove myself' through more serious raps. That led to Ripped Open, Rugrat X, and underachiever, which i'm still proud of to this day, but I've always wished I could mentally come back and finish what I always planned to do. Much love to everyone who's been with me in this from the beginning, and a big "what's up!!" to all who's new around here!! I don't plan on slowing down anytime soon, and part 3 definitely will not take 9 years to make ;) it feels really good to not feel the need to take myself so seriously anymore. love it or hate it, your choice! rugrat forever. hip hop is life. <3

-Rugrat is Dead - I've wanted to make this song for a really long time. This is my little way of saying THANK YOU MC CHRIS for being the coolest, most inspirational dude to my creative life for like, 11 years now. mc chris is dead is one of my all time favorite albums and it was a pure joy making this song. hope you like it and don't get upset at me for using some of your words :') it's all love!!!

-Potato Raps - I always thought the concept of this song would make for an excellent princess potato opener, but after i made it it sounded way more like a closer! i went for the whole "i've always been afraid to make this album, but here it is anyway" concept. hope you enjoy!

Rugrat started in 2010 with hopes of making "Rugrat Presents: The Curse: 2010". After realizing that title had far too many colons, I scrapped it and began working on Demon Llama, the first album in this decade+ long love affair with music.
