Composer and cellist Rubin Kodheli has been blending threads of rock, jazz and classical influences throughout the New York scene for over twenty years. Albanian-born and Julliard-trained, Rubin’s compositions combine his instrument with loops, electronics and organic sounds to generate visceral tones that effortlessly move between the gentle bow of a melancholic cello to lacerating riffs.
