Orca Watch by Ruben Alexander
This album was made with Fruity Loops and Orca. The download is WAV files of the recordings.
It is my first generative album where I didn't compose each piece, but created patterns and sonic loops that were timed then listened to afterwards.
I had to record in this manner because I gave up my mixer to a friend and only had one cable to record. I plugged in the mic to the speaker jack to record then listen to takes afterwards.

Got into folk in college after seeing Leo Kottke, Christopher Williams, and Ellis Paul live. Got into the Drum&Bass genre thanks to WERS late late night show where DJ Food proved that even the rhythms of toothbrushing can enhance a song.
After college I listened more to Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Loess, Riton, and Beanfield for more inspiration. Mainly use Fruity loops for electronic songs.
