RPG was formed with the intention of holistically creating uniquely modern music made from our heart + soul.
The music was born out of a need to relate to others- to find that joy can be found even in the darkest of places.
2018 was a period of change + unrest for many and so it was for RPG.
Through personal struggles, breakages + a search for peace, RPGโs debut album "KINTSUGI" was stretched + formed. It is a guiding light carrying strong messages of hope, self-empowerment, community, joy + love.
It was written + recorded across continents + timezones but the shared vision + bond remained steadfast true.
Kintsugi ้็ถใ is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. As a philosophy, it treats breakage + repair as part of the history, beauty + strength of an object, rather than something to disguise.
"KINTSUGI ้็ถใ" will be released in 2019
