Giant Rising by Romulus Rues

This is a collection of songs written between 2012 and 2014 It was supposed to be finished a long time ago, and though many things have changed since I thought this would be done, I've learned a lot more about these songs as I've sung them. I've tried to stay true to what this album was then. I couldn't have done anything any other way.

To Jesse Plass (Murph), for bringing me, a stage frightened freshman onto the stage with the Golden Lemons, before I could even call myself a musician, for putting up with my nonsense when we record, for starting Emmit T Funk with me.
To Emmit T. Funk, for giving me the most fun I've ever had performing music. I miss you all dearly and dream of the day we can play together again.
To Lee Falco, For giving those DVDs of music the first day I met you. Introducing and expanding my musical tastes, for putting Beirut on those DVDs. Without I may have never wanted to sing, to write songs. For introducing me to so many amazing people, to people I now call my best friends and can't imagine my life without.
To Dee, for unwavering support, dispelling all of my self-doubt, while I wrote these songs, for Rue. There would be no Romulus Rues without your belief in me.
