2017 is arguably one of the most important years of my life. Its the year I decided to start to try to be happy again, its the year I went to my first Catherine event. its also the year I lost my grandmother and my friend's younger brother passed. It is a very weird thing seeing a body in casket vs a hospital bed, in the former they look like a different person, like something was taken away, but in later it looks like they could get up again if there was something there to making them move. I had a song like this had in my head for a long time, but it wasnt until these two left us, so close to each other that it crystalized. It may be silly to reference and Eva meme in a song about something so serious, but it really did feel like they could move again with a soul to pilot them. "Get in the mech please"
