The actual oldest song on the album, On the physical version of the album I put out when I was in high school this was the bonus track. My sister was furious when it wasnt on the last one, and it almost didnt make this one. the vocal harmonies were just killing me, everything I wrote sounded so meh. Thank God for Winston, truly a gift and someone I know I can always turn to when I hit a wall while writing.
I do not know what this song is about, I dont think I knew when I wrote it, I definitely dont know now, but since I wrote it I have gotten black out drunk and been carried to bed, so now I just tell people that. However, I know why I wrote the song, I wrote it because "Like Venice" is the final song on Cinnamon Phase by Black Bear, and I listened to that album to death when my sister introduced it to me. "Venice I am lost in your gaze" was the starting point.
