Another old one, I wrote this the first day I hung out with Winston and Diaz (Both halves of Debris of Titan), I had gone up with them to Albany for their band Retro Lake's show, & and on the drive back I was staring out admiring the road cuts & imagining the glaciers carving out valleys. Creek is a little tribute to Beirut, the band that inspired me to start singing and learning a bunch of instruments, Nantes was actually the first I ever tried singing. This demo is fairly fleshed out because Fox, Nova, & I. This one was couldve have made on the last one, but for the life cant remember why it didnt make it, mightve been a timing issue, but glad it didnt, would not have been as good as the album version
Was very happy to get to have Ami Madeleine (https://amimadeleine.bandcamp.com/album/takeaway-2) come in and do harmonies on both this Where Do I Go, she has such a wonderful voice and I love the color of it and to have Jared's bandmate Ryan Perrone of What? (https://whatthebandnp.bandcamp.com/album/lavender-lounge-2) come in to play trumpet was great, you cant have a Beirut tribute without brass
