Rocket Empire are a Portland, Oregon based duo of Jon Cates and Dave Dish. Their sound is a fusion of acoustic indie rock and down-tempo, on level with Kruder & Dorfmeister and Nightmares on Wax. Their first two albums ‘Rocket Empire’ and ‘See Me Speak in Color’ saw heavy support from SIRIUS XM Chill and KCRW as well as KEXP.
