This album unfolds as a carefully integrated body of contemporary electronic ambient music, shaped by the precision and depth of 21st-century sound design. Each track evolves slowly and deliberately, prioritising atmosphere, texture, and spatial immersion over rhythm, while contributing to a unified and distinctly modern sonic identity.
Rooted in ambient, drone, minimal electronica, and experimental traditions, the music draws on advanced synthesis, granular transformation, spectral processing, and subtle generative techniques. Evolving pads stretch and shift across wide soundfields, while microscopic details flicker at the edges of perception. Organic elements—breath-like gestures, field-recording textures, and delicate piano or tonal fragments—are seamlessly woven into digital timbres, creating a fluid dialogue between the human and the synthetic.
The emotional terrain moves fluidly between luminous openness and darker, introspective depths, giving the album a cinematic sense of scale without resorting to overt narrative. Every sound is placed with care, resulting in pristine, three-dimensional production that rewards close listening.

I used Suno Ai to produce this album by uploading ten original piano compositions, each providing a harmonic, melodic and rhythmic core, and invited Suno to produce and arrange them using a detailed stylistic brief. The result is not a replacement for human musicianship, but a fast, provocative extension of it: a way of hearing familiar material through a radically different production lens.

I first picked up the guitar at 15 in the late 60's to learn Led Zeppelin riffs.
In 2008, after 40 years of playing and teaching the guitar, I switched to the piano and have never looked back.
