In the first movement there are two motifs, each one becomes the basis of a tone row from which the second and third movements are built. There is an intermezzo between the first and second movements and another before the fourth movement. The fourth movement is not quite so strictly twelve tone as the second and third but I don't think it's really in a key in a specific key

There's a couple of ideas that crop up both in the intermezzi and the movements proper, having ideas recur wasn't intended to be some big conceptual thing but it does sort of fit with what I was going for, which was for the music to be nightmarish.

During the 2020 lockdown I began scratching my musical itch using freeware I downloaded. It turned out to be the start of the most creative period of my musical life.
