I still use white noise to drown the silence out
but this is something I learned to live without

eventually you'll have to fall asleep
but 'til then you can vibrate with me
oscillate in time with our bodies intertwined
then one day you'll drift away on your own

hold your head in my hands 'cause you can't support it yet
but if I hold it too much you won't strengthen your neck

can you fall asleep without being close to me
or am I creating dependency?
