nyanyan purwa from ritus gunung by Daniel Milan
"Nyanyan Purwa" means antique song in Indonesian language. I used a part of the traditional wisdom of Kanekes people (Baduy) called as "amanat buyutan" or "pikukuh" which means mandate of the ancestors.
This people have kept a traditional way of leaving in complete harmony with mother nature, in the Kanekes mountains in Banten (Indonesia).

Pondok teu meunang disambung, lojor teu meunang dipotong, mipit kudu amit, ngala kudu menta, ngagedak kudu bewara, ngali cikur kudu matur, ulah goroh ulah linyok, ngadek kudu saclekna, nu enya kudu dienyakeun, ulah sirik ulah pidik, ulah ngarusak nagara jeung bansa, gunung teu meunang dilebur, lebak teu meunang di rusak, larangan teu meunang dirempak, buyut teu meunang dirobah.
What is short should not be lengthened, what is long should not be shortened, collecting must be with permission, work the land must be asked, news must be made common, dig up kencur (a kind of ginger) must be asked for bless, dont make noise and dont lie, a three must be cut properly and when necessary, the truth must be said truth, dont hate and dont be jealous, dont destroy the nation and the race, the mountain must not be destroyed, the valley should not be damaged, restrictions should not be violated, the ancient must not be changed.
