A close friend of mine asked me for a few piano chords to sample, and I gave him this 13-minute improvision which contains piano chords and a few other things too.
I love them dearly for that request, and for other things too.
As I've recently been spending so long on tightly structured songs with each lyric scrutinised and each note pushed around to within an inch of its life, I'd forgotten the joy I take in just playing. I hope this recording captures a piece of that joy.
While I've split the recording into sections, it's really just one flowing piece and I'd personally recommend listening to it as such.
