Existentialism from Interstition/Existentialism by Rhyot
Rhyot marks a return with Interstition/Existentialism, a dark, expansive double single of volumetric atmospheres and abrasive textures drawing from deep techno and ambient influences. At the helm of Canadian independent electronic music label Emercive, Rhyot resurfaces with this first release of 2025: two tracks from a trove of many unreleased works that make a sonic callback to early pieces such as “Meld”, “Army of the Dead”, and “Aphelion”. ‘Interstition/Existentialism’ adds a pair of dim, haunting concepts to the artist’s catalogue which is anticipated to see many more additions in the near future across a range of stylistic perspectives.
