Lyrics
I: Falling Forward
I feel like I'm falling forward
into an unknown future
that holds great danger.
I cannot grieve
for the deaths
of people I don’t know.
Is it the same for you?
II: Star-gate
I am trying to figure out who and what I am.
I often contemplate the meaning of life.
I meditate every day,
Sit quietly
and try not to think about my worries…
I am constantly flooded
with everything that’s around me.
It is a stream of information.
I try my best to organize it all.
I am a glowing orb of energy
floating in mid-air.
The inside of my body
is a giant star-gate,
with portals to other spaces and dimensions.
My soul is a vast and infinite well
of energy and creativity.
To me, the soul is a concept of
the animating force behind consciousness
and life itself.
It means there is an inner part of me
that is spiritual,
and it can sometimes feel separate
from my body itself.
I am a spiritual person.
Although I don't have beliefs about deities,
I’ve developed a sense of deep respect
for the natural world
and all forms of life,
including human life.
III: Little Lamb
Once upon a time, there was a little lamb who was quite young. He was happy and he knew he could learn about the world in which he lived. One day he did, but he wasn’t satisfied with everything. He wanted to know more and more about the world. After he learned everything there was to know he realized he was different from everything else in the world. He realized just how different he was as each person has a slightly different way of thinking.
IV: Agnus Dei
In lamb you meet a man.
In man you meet a god.
In god you meet a man.
In man you meet a lamb.
Agnus Dei.
