Introduction / Artist Statement:

Remaining Daze is more than just the name of our band—it's a reflection of where we are, what we've lived, and what we're still trying to make sense of. This is our debut release—Remaining Daze, by Remaining Daze—and it felt essential that the album title share our band name. It's our first collective statement to the world—this is us, this is where we are in this moment, this is what we have to say, and here’s what we sound like.

For me, founder Cliff Stevens, it's a chance to revisit a few songs I originally wrote, produced, and released over the last decade. Now, with the combined talents and unique energy of my bandmates, these tracks have been reborn with new depth, character, quality and power.
But Remaining Daze isn't just a reintroduction—it's an evolution. We created new songs together that pull from each of our distinct personalities and musical influences. In doing so, we've begun to shape a sound we half-jokingly call "Nu Stoner"—a groovy, heavy, fuzzy, melodic blend of stoner rock, modern rock and metal, grunge, thrash and classic heavy rock. It's energetic music made for action, movement, for catharsis, and for anyone just wanting to rock out and feel something that feels good.

And finally, we couldn't make a record right now without acknowledging the moment we're living in. There's a heaviness in the world—politically, culturally, emotionally—and this album is our response to that. These songs are how we process, respond, and connect with others navigating the seemingly more frequent and severe collisions between chaos and order, creation and destruction, opportunity and oppression, in this infinitely mysterious universe that we all cohabit and keep trying to figure out. Good luck with that eh?!

The awesome album cover art was drawn by artist Jari Tanduk, and was based on the loosely conceived concept that we as humans haven’t been so great at getting along with each other lately, and that no matter how many worlds we end up inhabiting over the millenia, we might just end up extincting ourselves each time and moving on to the next one, with our remains eventually to be found by future aliens and perhaps a few human stragglers exploring the universe for evidence of what once was. Discovering playable copies of our “Remaining Daze” album on these human-inhabited planets will be proof that we did once exist and thrive.

Remaining Daze was recorded at Tritono Studios in Cochabamba, Bolivia, over the course of August and September 2025.
This album was produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Alejandro Torrez of Tritono Studios.
